- Short-term acute care hospital with 108 total staff beds
- Inpatient rehabilitation unit with floating required between units and sister facilities within the state
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:00)
- Weekends required — one regular weekend shift per week
- Patient ratio of 6 patients per 8-hour day
- Diverse patient population including amputee, CVA rehabilitation, TBI, spinal cord injury, MS, Parkinson's, dementia/Alzheimer's, and other progressive neurological disorders
- Orthopedic cases include hip fracture, total hip replacement, knee injuries, and total knee replacement
- Epic EMR — experience required
- No on-call required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered as local candidates
- Floating between sister facilities within the state is expected — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to or at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
- Up to 6 days of RTO (or 3 consecutive days) may be auto-approved; requests beyond 6 days require client approval and may delay offers
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Scrubs may be any color for allied health professionals
- No parking fee at this facility
- Responsibilities include patient evaluation, plan of care development, reassessments, discharge planning, community re-entry planning, patient/family education, adaptive equipment assessment, and ADL training
- Modalities and skills utilized include electrical stimulation, biofeedback, myofascial release, feeding techniques, and functional capacity evaluation
- Current, active OT license required (license pending considered if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS certification required
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
