    We have an opportunity available for a Estimator to work within our Sales Team. The

    is responsible for working directly with the contract specialist(s) and contract coordinator(s) with preparation, pricing, and assembly of bids for submittal.

    This role will build and prepare bids for review by the Directors of the Midwest and Southeast sales divisions.
    The Estimator will also review and build quotes for large account projects. The position requires time management and organizational skills to meet bid deadlines and ensure job accuracy. A strong work ethic must be demonstrated with constant communication by telephone, text, and email when required.

    What you will do:
    Coordinate with the coordinator(s) & specialist(s) on upcoming bids
    Compile all manufacturer quotes, review scope/job requirements, and address any RFI's with consultants, architects, and general contractors
    Enter quotes for final review by the Director prior to bid submittal
    Gather bid results, discuss sub-bids with the general contractors for possible negotiation of project award
    Review pending project and quote requests for large accounts, assemble quotes and submit for review/revisions, and convert/generate PO's

    What we need:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
    Minimum 2 years experience in construction bidding & estimating.
    Experience in the Food Service or Construction industries preferred.
    Full understanding of equipment, rough-in, and architectural plans.

    Strong computer skills to learn and navigate between programs: Outlook, ERP (core operating system), Bid & Contract software, Autoquotes (AQ), Central Website, Parts Websites, & Mobile Devices.

    Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours.
    Office Environment or work from home/remote office.
