    Description

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Salary: Starting at $344,000 plus RVU bonus eligibility and moonlighting options at $250/hour.
    • CME/Indirect Costs: $3,000 + 3-5 days off per year.
    • PTO: 14 paid holidays + 30 additional days off including sick time, accrued yearly.
    • Relocation Assistance: Available based on SBUH and IRS guidelines.
    • Educational Repayment: Non-profit employer assistance with PSLF eligibility.
    • Benefits: Generous medical and health benefits through Empire BCBS, extensive retirement/pension offerings.
    • Pension: Employer contributes 8% of annual salary, no out-of-pocket cost, vests in 3 years.

    Responsibilities and Facility Details

    • Clinical experience with psychiatric patients in a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) or other psychiatric emergency setting.
    • Psychiatric evaluation and management of patients in CPEP/ED of University Hospital.
    • Teaching and supervision of residents, nurses, and medical students.
    • After-hours practice opportunities available through hospital, no offsite practices allowed.
