    Project Controls Manager - Mississippi, United States - Metric Geo

    Metric Geo are partnered with a Top-Rated ENR Contractor with a backlog of $45B+ worth of projects across the US

    They are hiring for a Project Controls Manager to be based on a confidential mega project in Byhalia, MS - you do not need to be based locally but must be open to regular travel to the site.

    You must have experience managing project controls on large-scale industrial projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Planning and Scheduling:

    • Develop comprehensive project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.

    Cost Management:

    • Develop detailed project budgets in collaboration with project managers and finance teams.
    • Monitor project expenditures and analyze variances against budgeted costs.
    • Prepare accurate cost forecasts and financial reports for project stakeholders.

    Resource Management:

    • Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize project disruptions.

    Performance Analysis and Reporting:

    • Prepare regular project performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as schedule adherence, cost variance, and resource utilization.
    • Analyze project data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
