Mobile Crisis Specialist - Frederick, United States - Sheppard Pratt Health System
Description
Mobile crisis services in in Frederick County {rel="noopener" target="_blank"}are designed for individuals of any age who are experiencing a mental health crisis.
What to expect.
This is a direct care opportunity to respond to crisis calls that require face-to-face intervention with individuals and families in the community.
Specific responsibilities include:
Receiving referrals for mobile response and responding directly to the individual(s) in crisis for assessment and acute stabilization.
Implementing short-term follow-up plans or stabilization and transition plans as developed by the mobile crisis clinician.
Developing and maintaining professional relationships with individuals, their support system, first responders, Sheppard Pratt staff, and community support agencies.

What we need from you.
Possession of one of the following:
An associate degree in a human services field.
A bachelors degree in a human services field.
A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certificate.
Positively referenced and relevant work experience.
A drivers license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
