    BOH Team Member

    $15-17/hr + tips

    Job SummaryAs a Back of House Crew Member at Big Chicken, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering a delightful dining experience to our customers. You will work behind the scenes, collaborating with a dynamic team to prepare and cook delicious chicken dishes in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities
    1. Food Preparation:
      • Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare high-quality chicken and side dishes.
      • Ensure proper portion control and maintain consistency in food presentation.
      • Handle and store ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
    2. Cooking:
      • Operate kitchen equipment, such as fryers, grills, and ovens, to cook chicken to perfection.
      • Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee food safety and quality.
      • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth flow of orders during peak hours.
    3. Kitchen Cleanliness:
      • Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
      • Follow proper cleaning procedures for kitchen equipment and utensils.
      • Dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
    4. Team Collaboration:
      • Work closely with other back of house and front of house team members to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
      • Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
      • Contribute to a positive and energetic work environment.

    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
