    Position Overview


    Lead a small team in Data Analytics supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE), Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO), ICE Health Service Corps (IHSC), IHSC Administration Services Division (ADMIN), Health Information Technology Unit (HITU), Information Management Section (IMS), IHSC Data Analytics Office (DAO).

    The team is responsible for contract support for an existing data repository for quality medical care information stemming from health services provided at ICE detention facilities; for enabling IHSC and its partners' agencies to have available, accurate, complete and secure data sets in order to conduct appropriate data analyses and studies; and to achieve comprehensive analytics solutions for its enterprise healthcare data.

    Job Responsibilities

    Acts as a coordinator for or directly oversees the contract data support project at IHSC.
    Organizes project activities in accordance with the PWS applicable to the contract.

    Develop project plans to direct activities in support of the DAO's strategic direction, as well as create and manage long-term goals of data projects/initiatives.

    Develops operating plans for project activities or initiatives to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
    Develops an evaluation method to assess timelines for project completion.
    Analyzes project risks.
    Manages a team with a diverse array of technical talents and responsibilities.
    Ensures goals are met in customer satisfaction, data quality, and contract staff performance.
    Implements and manages changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
    Meets with government partners to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and service decisions.
    Produces accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle.
    Attends DAO data team meetings and IHSC staff meetings.
    Performs other taskings within the PWS, as assigned by HITU/IMS/DAO

    Qualifications


    Required Qualifications:
    Minimum of at least ten (10) years of relevant/similar experience in data management, which includes experience/knowledge/skills/abilities with all of the following:
    Experience documenting/reviewing data standards documents, information-sharing agreements, and memorandums of understanding.
    Experience in project management and team management.
    Experience in project management.
    Stakeholder management skills.
    Experience managing a team.
    Experience working in a customer-facing role, making recommendations, and communication skills relating to technical concepts.
    Experience with SharePoint administration and program development tools as well as competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Project, etc

    Master of Arts or Master of Science (MA/MS) degree required in Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Management, Project Management, or a closely related field.

    Secret clearance

    Preferred Qualifications

    PMP or DAWIA PM certification
    Experience supporting DHS ICE IHSC
