    Essential Duties:


    The role will be in the Woodlands or at the project's engineering contractor's office and will require significant travel to the project site located in Magnolia, Arkansas.

    Responsible for driving the daily delivery of the project from a capital project engineering standpoint (FEED, detailed design, safety and quality, construction, and process analysis)
    Responsible for ensuring the plant design and engineering progresses in line with all TETRA HSE, quality and technical requirements
    Identify project requirements including coordinating with a multi-disciplined engineering team to identify and resolve engineering problems and implement solutions, when necessary
    Lead the implementation and adherence to project processes and procedures
    Be an active participant in the Tetra team during major project reviews such as 3D Model Reviews, Construction reviews and Hazard Studies
    Organize, attend, contribute to and lead, when assigned, other multi-disciplined project meetings and reviews
    Maintain high performing working relationships with the main engineering contractor, licensors, vendors, and other members of the project team ensuring all project activities are well prioritized, coordinated and aligned
    Act as deputy for the Project Manager, when necessary
    Support the project control team in developing regular Project Reports for engineering, procurement, and construction
    Support the project team in developing project estimates and schedules
    Closely monitor and expedite the closure of the outstanding actions with appropriate design disciplines and other members of the project team
    Support the discipline engineers in the prompt resolution of technical design reviews, clarification and RFI / waiver requests from engineering and construction contractors through all phases of the project
    Support the change management processes of the project helping to minimize the impact and necessity for change
    Support the Project team in managing the contractual responsibilities of the engineering and construction contractors


    Requirements:

    EDUCATION :
    Bachelor of Science in Engineering


    EXPERIENCE :
    10+ years of active process/project experience


    TRAVEL :
    50%

    OTHER:
    Lean experience preferred - Six Sigma, Yellow, Green, Black Belt
    Significant experience working for an operator in the chemical, petrochemical or oil and gas industry with proven experience of engineering and projects, including front-end, detailed design, construction, commissioning, and operation phases
    Strong Project Management skillset including working within demanding schedule and budget constraints as well as excellent team leadership and organizational skills
    Experience working on a major EPC project within the industry would be advantageous
