As an Account ManagerResponsibilities:
Work with producers and staff to onboard new business and complete renewal processesMaintain complete client files with clear documentation of account detail in agency management systems, including policy information, activities, correspondence, and attachmentsWork with producers and other internal departments to develop and carry out service strategy for each clientAssist in RFP processCompare carrier proposals and provide a summary of programs and options designed to guide clients through making decisions about insurance programsCreate and deliver Open Enrollment and New Hire presentationsRemain current on carrier plans and programs, legislation, and industry trendsFollow client service workflows, engage internal resources, and escalate as necessaryRespond to client inquiries via multiple channels of communication such as phone, email, and in-person meetingsProvide exemplary service and support for internal and external clients (including claims, billing, enrollment, and benefit inquiries)
Develop and maintain positive relationships by collaborating with coworkers and insurance carriersQualifications:3-5+ years of experience in employee benefits, insurance industryExperience in a client facing role, sales or account managementKnowledge of medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefitsMicrosoft Office experience required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)HRIS system familiarity is a plusStrong communication & organization skillsDetail-oriented and have a sense of urgency#J-18808-Ljbffr
