    Employee Benefits Account Manager

    Salary: 75k-90K plus benefits


    Location:
    Memphis, TN

    Must have prior experience managing clients ranging from small (2-25 lives) to medium lives). Attend open enrollments and client meetings with the Producers. Assist with marketing/RFPs, changes to enrollments and implementation of benefit plans. Will be responsible for managing renewals, open enrollments, making presentations and handling the day to day service. Must have excellent communication, computer and time management skills. Excel experience is a must.
    Develop and maintain working relationship with the various company marketing representatives and underwriters
    Maintain up to date knowledge of the various carriers' rating plans and programs
    Maintain favorable relationship with clients, producers, and employees
    Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of employee benefit lines of coverage and rating

    The position will handle daily contact with Employee Benefits clients.

    The responsibilities of this role include visiting clients, handling service requests, coordinating renewals, working with underwriters to place coverage, etc.

    Requirements:

    3-5 years of health insurance and ancillary products experience
    TN Life and Health Insurance License
    requires 3-5 years' experience working for an insurance agency, TPA, medical practice or insurance carrier
    prefer experience in employee group benefits managing a book of business, or managing and resolving claims issues, or working in medical practice managing/resolving billing and claims issues
    preparing RFPs for various lines of coverage for prospects and clients; preparing proposals and assist in sales presentations;
    knowledgeable in Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, COBRA, ERISA and various DOL guidelines;
    provide back office support to clients for enrollments, product knowledge, benefit inquiries, claims issues and other requests;

    maintain relationships with insurance carriers reps; maintain client in multiple agency management and Ben-Admin systems; proficient in Microsoft products; and excellent communication skills to develop and maintain favorable relationships with clients is of utmost importance.
