- Provide linkage for students and community members to direct medical, dental and behavioral health services in the NE region.

Underindirect supervision, this position work closely with rural health care agencies,primary care teams, social services agencies, academic institutions, studentsand preceptors to coordinate clinical rotations expanding rural healthcareworkforce development using the Semillas de Salud "grow your own" healthprofessional model.
This position will workin community-based settings to link agencies coordinating access to servicesrelated to social determinants of health. They will connect students and communitymembers to the resources of the UNM Health Sciences Center.This includescoordinating digital literacy and skills training and distribution oftechnology via lending libraries for the Community Connectivity Projectsupported by United Healthcare.

Serve as the main point of contact with internal and external constituencies for matters concerning the program's activities, outreach, and community participation.
May supervise student employees, volunteers and/or interns; may lead lower-graded staff.
Plans andcoordinates the day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activitiesof a narrowly defined, contract or grant funded program/project or set offunded activities.
Duties typically include assisting with grant planning andadministration, fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions,program implementation and administration, internal and externaloperational/administrative liaison, program marketing, and reporting.
If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred QualificationsStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
