Leasing Administrator - Fairfax, United States - Long & Foster

The Leasing Administrator will play a key role in all facets of corporate leasing working with each of the Long & Foster companies to drive successful lease transactions (initiations, extensions, renewals, etc.) across the enterprise.
This includes site evaluation, negotiation of terms, documentation and interpretation of occupancy lease contracts including new locations, relocations, expansions and contractions.
Key Responsibilities:
all aspects of the leasing process, from front-end leasing strategy and planning (brokerage, title and other lines of business), to financial aspects and related lease terms (BPN- Finance), to answering questions regarding lease terms (SSC-Legal and others).
as point person with CBRE in terms of leasing needs, including site selection, obtaining market studies, due diligence, landlord negotiations and other commercial leasing needs like LOIs, term sheets, etc

CBRE IS NOT IN THE ENTIRE L&F FOOTPRINT, BUT SHOULD BE UTILIZED AS NEEDED
consult regarding various issues or conditions in the locations to educate client on items that may influence tenancy negotiations
with lease negotiations as requested
client locations as needed within client's footprint
in drafting internal business case documentation for office locations
lease approval process and provide status updates as requested
for tracking status of all leases and provide updates to the internal clients on all aspects of client leases including upcoming renewals, expirations and other key dates or events for office locations to ensure that clients have ample time to evaluate renewals or relocation
with internal data entry for leases and related documents as needed
leases and become subject matter expert on all aspects of the properties including determining which party is responsible for maintenance and related costs
with move in and move out processes for all client locations
reporting and analytics as requested
and implement policies and procedures for client locations related to best practices for reducing overhead costs and increasing client satisfaction
and nurture relationships with landlords at all locations and serve as the primary liaison between the client and landlord
Education & Training:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Relevant Experience/Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial property lease drafting and negotiations
Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey complex information; excellent legal writing skills
Ability to plan and organize well, multi-task and deliver on promises
Positive self-starter; ability to multi-task; flexible, results orientated, accurate and attention to detail
