Job summary
Hudson River Trading is hiring a Commodities Risk Manager for our NYC office. You will be responsible for designing, improving, managing and communicating market and liquidity risk for commodities instruments and strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design new risk controls for commodities trading strategies that appropriately control market operational funding and liquidity risk without disrupting trading activity
- Analyze historical measures in order to calibrate thresholds
- Monitor market operational and liquidity risk partner with operations execution trading teams to investigate resolve risk limit breaches
- Collaborate with Operations to develop implement new risk monitoring tools
- Evaluate bespoke trading opportunities Work on tactical projects with Finance Operations Engineering
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a Risk Manager covering commodities in an investment bank hedge fund or asset manager
- B.S. In Mathematics Physics Economics Computer Science Electrical Engineering Or Statistics Working knowledge of Python Linux SQL Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the firm including traders operations other Risk Managers Excellent written verbal communication skills Valid Job:1} }' {
