    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a highly surgical Level 4 NICU position with night shifts and floating requirements.

    Responsibilities
    Work in the Level 4 NICU of a hospital setting
    Night shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
    Care for patients from 23 weeks gestational age up to 1 year old
    Patient diagnoses include PPHN, NEC, BPD, tracheostomy/G-button evaluations, pre-op cardiac anomalies, gastroschisis, and hydrocephalus
    Required to float first to PICU, CCU, or med-surg units for patients with similar skill sets
    Staff must work one additional shift every three weeks during high census periods
    Responsibilities include monitoring, assessment, and care of complex neonatal patients
    Must be comfortable working with a variety of neonatal diagnoses and complex surgical cases
    This is a night shift position
    Strong ability to adapt to different units and patient populations is needed

    Requirements
    Active NE or compact RN license required
    Significant NICU experience required
    Experience in Level 4 NICU and with highly surgical cases preferred
