Description
The George, a newly renovated community in Washington, D.C., is seeking a Part-Time Overnight Concierge to join our property management team. This position supports overnight building operations and plays a critical role in maintaining safety, security, and professionalism during evening hours.
Work Schedule:
- Wednesday – Thursday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Thursday – Friday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Friday – Saturday Overnight (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
(Exact schedule to be confirmed at offer.)
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Greet residents and guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Conduct regular building and garage walk-throughs to ensure safety and security
- Monitor building access and promptly report issues or emergencies
- Assist residents with package pick-up and maintain an organized package area
- Respond to resident inquiries and requests quickly and courteously
- Document maintenance issues, deliveries, and incidents for management
Requirements
We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (hospitality or customer service experience preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in concierge, front desk, or customer service roles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to excellent service
- Proficiency with basic computer programs (email, Word, Excel)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
The physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand, walk, and conduct building rounds during shifts
- Lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
