Education/experience
High school graduate or equivalent and/or documented experience in an institutional setting or related environment.

Job Summary

Coordinate the work of six to twelve housekeeping workers and assist in task accomplishment of all housekeeping requirements in all university facilities, to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.

Responsible for the care and handling of housekeeping equipment, supplies and assigned keys.

Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, chemical methods and equipment used in an institutional environment.

Ability to understand, follow and enforce work instructions and safety practices; demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing.

Ability to maintain a professional working relationship; demonstrate fairness, be decisive and maintain objectivity. Valid driver's license required.

Additional Considerations
Housekeeping experience in higher education setting.
