Profound expertise in machine learning methods, encompassing natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), and deep learning/deep neural networks.
A demonstrated knack for handling data imperfections.
Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python.
Competency in using data visualization tools like Tableau.
Experience in meticulously documenting data science projects, actively participating in peer reviews, and adhering to data science best practices.
Familiarity with an array of data science tools.
Strong problem-solving acumen

Optional Skills:

Familiarity with the Sponsor's (Virginia Customer) workflow and research applications.
Proficiency in utilizing JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Collaborative experience within a team-oriented environment.
Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
