    Description

    Respiratory Therapist Position

    • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, gas administration, and chest physiotherapy.
    • Perform aerosol therapy, CPR, airway and ventilator management for inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.
    • Educational Requirements:

    Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy Program is a must.

    Required Licensure/Certification:
    Must hold a current Florida Registered or Certified license and BLS certification.

    Additional Certifications:
    ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required prior to hire.

    Preferred:
    Registered Respiratory Therapist.

    Other Requirements:
    Candidates need to have competencies, training, and certifications specific to their clinical specialty.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Must have adequate visual and hearing senses to detect changes in physiological conditions.
    • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

    Experience:
    Preferably 1 year of Acute Care and Nursery Experience.
