Electrical Engineer Manager

We are currently seeking a candidate with excellent analytical skills and previous experience in a similar Engineering role for a client in Boardman, Ohio

In this position, you will be working with a veteran-owned, minority business, established in 1998 as a multi-process manufacturing company. This company has grown at a rapid rate to serve multiple markets, including architectural and automotive lighting, out of their 91,000 square feet production facility. Shift:

• 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay:

• $80,000+ annually, depending on your experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Research / develop designs / products
• Determine the need for training / talent development
• Hire contractors / build teams
• Ensure products have the support of upper management.
• Provide clear / concise instructions to engineering teams
• Lead research / development projects that produce new designs, products, and processes
• Check work for technical accuracy

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager / similar role
• Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully / solving complex problems
• Communication skills for overseeing staff / working with other management personnel
• Detail-oriented with the ability to catch minor errors which can result in major problems
• Math skills, including calculus and other advanced mathematics
• Organizational skills for keeping track of various budgets / employees / schedules simultaneously
• Relevant training / certifications as an Engineering Manager
