    Description

    Job Duties:
    Associate, Quantitative Engineering with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas.

    Design and produce customized client-facing performance reporting materials, portfolio review materials, and marketing materials for offerings including option strategies, structure notes strategies and alternative investments strategies.

    Develop and implement scenario analyses utilizing quantitative models including but not limited to Black Scholes, Volatility Surfaces, and Monte Carlo Simulations.

    Develop back tests to support the design and refinement of new and existing strategies; additionally, utilize them as marketing materials to demonstrate the efficacy of the strategies in specific cases.

    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build quantitative models and tools to streamline their portfolio management and performance reporting processes. Build and maintain infrastructure of Strategists' analytical systems. Mentor and develop junior engineering talent within the business function.


    Job Requirements:
    Master's degree (.

    or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field and one (1) year of experience in job offered or a related quantitative engineering role OR Bachelor's degree (.

    or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or a related quantitative engineering role.

    Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree)

    OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with the following:

    C++, Java, Python, SQL or similar languages; developing and implementing quantitative models for option writing strategies, utilizing financial mathematics principles such as the Black-Scholes pricing model, probability theory, and random processes; creating and automating performance analytics reports tailored for Wealth Management clients, including option strategies, structure notes strategies, and 10b5-1 programs; developing statistics and data driven market penetration analyses for internal stakeholders, leveraging a solid understanding of market dynamics and business operations; and leading multi-person projects across regions, including assigning work, managing project timelines, and posting senior stakeholders on progress, delays, and milestones.
