Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

Schedule

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15 with the option for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Job Description

Join a large respiratory care department that practices at the top of their license. The ideal candidate will work in a variety of settings including Med/Surg, ICU Step-down, and potentially the Emergency Department, caring for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced respiratory care procedures including airway management, medication administration, and ventilator management.
• Conduct assessments and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Servo I, Servo U, and Hamilton T1 ventilators.
• Provide care for patients with a range of respiratory conditions, including COPD and COVID-19.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Experience working with EPIC charting systems is required.
• Current North Carolina license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care techniques and equipment operation.
