- This position will be working in lab and greenhouse performing the following duties
- Assisting in planting, inoculating, and evaluating plants to screen for disease resistances
- Maintaining suitable conditions for proper plant growth; Preparing for culture media
- Assisting in lab, headhouse and greenhouse sanitation practices including devitalization processing of all regulated breeding materials.
- Candidates must pay attention to the details and be able to follow safety and stewardship rules, stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs.
- The environment can sometimes be hot in greenhouse. Candidates may get dirty due to working with plants and soil.
