Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for a Shipping/Warehouse Clerk to work at their Jackson, MI, site.

* This contract position (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right candidate) offers a pay rate of $18-$20/hour (based on experience); benefits are available. *

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities

The Clerk will work in the office and support the Shipping/Receiving Department with daily operations.

Typical tasks may include:

• Incoming receipt processing


• Generation of Shipping documents


• Creation of Bills of Lading, Pick Tickets, and Packing Lists

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent -Required


• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role- Required


• Shipping and receiving experience- Strongly Preferred


• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)- Required


• SAP experience- Strongly Preferred


• Basic transportation knowledge (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG, RCRA)- Strongly Preferred
