    Zippertubing is looking for a full-time, on-site, Accounting Manager to join our team today. We need someone local in town to start as soon as possible.


    Work hours are only 40 hours per week, either Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm or Monday through Thursday from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm and Friday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am, with weekends off.

    This is a Full time in office position.

    The Accounting Manager will use professional knowledge and exercise discretion and judgment to maintain the company's accounting system. Responsibilities involve preparation of monthly financial statements, including explanation of variances.

    The Accounting Manager will also prepare Journal Entries and reconcile all balance sheets or review those prepared by the Accounting Specialists on a monthly basis.

    This role reports directly to the US Corporate Controller.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Prepare monthly journal entries.
    Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
    Prepare monthly financial statements and explain variances.
    Assist the US Corporate Controller in the creation of any budgets, forecasts, or financial reporting. Assist the US Coporate Controller with any special projects.
    Perform cost accounting functions to generate reports to analyze manufacturing costs.
    Maintain the Sale/Use tax system, which includes timely filing of state sales tax reports. Other responsibilities include the preparation of monthly analysis and accrual of all open customer RMAs.
    Supervise the Accounting Specialists in the performance of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
    Maintain accurate cash reporting and cash flow forecast.
    Be a business partner and support other department managers to continuously improve procedures, controls, and systems.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    2+ years of Manufacturing Accounting Experience (Preferred)
    2+ years of Accounting Manager Experience (Preferred).
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Required).
    Supervisory Experience (Preferred).
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
    Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making.
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
    Effective mentoring, facilitation, and team-building skills.

    $75k - $100k, DOE

    The Accounting Manager must demonstrate the cognitive ability to analyze problems, evaluate options, focus attention on a task, and engage in critical thinking.

    The Accounting Manager also must demonstrate cognitive ability to lead and manage a team of employees, including overseeing their work.

    While performing the duties of this job, the Accounting Manager will work in a standard individual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The position involves walking, climbing stairs, sitting, talking, and hearing throughout the 8-10-hour shift.

    This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.

    This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stepladder as necessary.
