Job summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Planning & Design Engineer II to support the Central and Northeast Divisions for a major telecommunications provider.This is a fully remote contract role focused on coax and fiber design, project coordination, and supporting multiple network upgrade and reclamation initiatives.

- Perform Coax and Fiber network design
- Review documentations QC proofing approval of deliverables
- Manage workflows betterments upfront designs SPAN replacements UMEA-related design work
- Fiber reclamations reclaiming fiber disconnected customers returning it open state Utilize IRIS P2 process designs run reports track project progress Collaborate construction leads internal teams gather information support GIS mapping Add verify labor rate codes within documentation Assist shifting from project management back engineering design
