    The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons invites outstanding candidates to apply for a TENURE-TRACK faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. The department seeks individuals with exceptional accomplishments and abilities in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics.     The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics offers a rigorous and stimulating environment for conducting research. Faculty use the full spectrum of contemporary biophysical, biochemical, molecular biological, and cellular techniques to study developmental biology; gene expression, regulation, and signal transduction; macromolecular structure, function, and dynamics; and molecular neurobiology. The Department has a rich history of excellence in molecular and structural biology and molecular neuroscience. Cross-appointment with other departments or centers is also possible.

    Minimum Degree Required: All applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree.

    Minimum Qualifications: Understanding and background in work with genetics, cellular, and molecular biology, and biochemistry.
