Position Summary # Responsible for the maintenance, repair and proper operation of hospital, refrigeration, air conditioning, evaporative cooling, mechanical ventilating and icy making equipment, including control work and computer design of air conditioning system.

Must be able to withstand many hours of standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting and moving equipment. Manual dexterity, good eye to hand coordination with adequate vision. Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English fluently. Must be about to work as a team member with peers and other departments. Must be able to cope with agitated, hostile customers and respond calmly. Performs analytical diagnosis on malfunctioning equipment. Performs mechanical repair in a workmanship manner using correct tools and procedures Performs planned maintenance on all mechanical equipment
