- Coordinate with other infrastructure teams to meet goals
- Monitor and manage the cloud infrastructures and the services that live there
- Update software and services as required
- Troubleshoot issues and solve problems where needed
- Maintain and deploy fault-tolerant systems on AWS
- Manage disaster recovery with data backup protocols
- Ensure systems compliance with best practices for alignment to AWS standards and security
- To be able to work in a mixed Windows and Linux software environment
- Understanding of microservice support and maintenance
- Good knowledge of the 5 pillars of AWS – Well Architected framework
- Hands-on experience in deploying, supporting, maintaining, monitoring, and securing various AWS IaaS and PaaS services
- Certified AWS SysOps Administrator
- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
- Experience with the administration of transit gateways and AWS security groups
- 2+ years of recent Linux systems and operations experience in a production environment
- 2+ years of recent programming experience with at lest one object-oriented language (such as Java, Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Knowledge of Docker including image creation, management, and deployment
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Data Dog
- Experience with AWS Services such as VPC, EC2, EKS, ALB/NLB, RDS, Route53, Control Tower, and S3
- Azure experience at an intermediate level in areas similar to the AWS requirements listed
