    Job Title: Credit Analyst/ Admin

    Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week

    Reports to: Credit and Collections Director

    FLSA Status: Exempt

    Location: Palmetto, FL

    Opportunity

    The Credit Analyst/ Admin holds a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of current and potential borrowers. Additionally, they contribute to essential administrative tasks vital for the smooth operation of the department or organization. This role calls for a detail-oriented individual with robust analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, and effective multitasking skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses seeking loans or credit lines.
    • Analyze financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to gauge risk levels.
    • Review credit reports, credit scores, and other pertinent information to make well-informed decisions.
    • Create thorough credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals or rejections.
    • Collaborate with team members to collect essential data for credit analysis, identify possible risks, and propose risk mitigation strategies.
    • Communicate credit determinations clearly and promptly to relevant parties.
    • Offer assistance and advice to colleagues on credit-related inquiries when required.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of loan applications, approvals, and rejections.
    • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders and refine administrative processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Engage in training sessions or professional development endeavors to stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in credit analysis.
    • Proactively suggest enhancements to policies, procedures, and systems to optimize credit evaluation procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated expertise in credit analysis or financial analysis.
    • Proficient in financial statements, ratios, and credit risk assessment methods.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and financial analysis tools.
    • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Adept at working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
    • Attentive to detail and precise in data analysis and reporting.
