- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Install and connect electrical components, such as switches, outlets, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate electrical work on construction or renovation projects.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Job DescriptionWest Electric LLC is based in East Hartford CT with offices in Fairfield County and Hartford county, as well as Charleston SCand is owned by Ed West. Ed comes from a family of electricians, including his father who has been in the business for over 40 years. Ed has attended and completed all electrical required schooling at Howell Cheney Technical School, graduating at the top of the class. Now having been in the field for over 25 years working on all aspects of electrical including residential jobs up to and including large-scale commercial projects.
