    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op/PACU position requiring a CA RN license, AHA ACLS and PALS certifications, and at least 2 years of recent Pre-Op experience including pediatric cases.

    Responsibilities
    Position is based in a Pre-Operative Services unit within a medical center setting
    8-hour day shifts with start times between 0600–0800
    40 hours per week
    13-week contract
    Provides pre-operative nursing care, including patient assessment and preparation prior to surgical procedures
    Local candidates are eligible to apply; candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility qualify for the local pay rate

    Requirements
    Active California (CA) RN license required
    Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
    Minimum 2 years of recent Pre-Op nursing experience required
    Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
    Prior travel nursing experience preferred
    Epic EMR experience preferred
    Two clinical references from the last two places of employment required, each from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse), covering the last year of employment
