The Surgical Tech Certified is responsible for assisting physicians during surgical procedures. The technician must have a thorough knowledge of sterilization and disinfection and be able to stand for long hours and lift 15-30 lbs..Other responsibilities include: anticipation of the time constraints, to be prepared for procedures when needed and in a timely manner.
