Job summary
The Sr. Quality Inspector is a senior role within the quality team responsible for overseeing inspections mentoring junior inspectors and ensuring all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements.This position involves leading inspections of critical products and processes managing complex quality issues and coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The Sr. Quality Inspector plays a key role in evaluating and releasing new products.
Credentials/Experience Six (6) years of experience in an inspection role with at least 2 years in a lead position preferably in medical device manufacturing Associate's degree in engineering manufacturing or equivalent work experience Strong math skills to work with fractions and decimals in the imperial and metric measurement systems
- Lead efforts in continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects improving yield enhancing overall product quality.
- Maintain a positive professional presence while representing quality assurance with production teams.
