JOB ID: Summer Teacher (Summer Plus/Blast/Community School) – Part-time, temporary positions beginning 06/17/2026 – 7/30/2026.
Location: Greenvale Park/Middle School
Scheduled Hours/Days: M-Th 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and/or 12:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Qualifications:
Licensed teacher in the State of MN.
Experience with children ages 5-14/grades K-8.
Pay Rate/Range: $40.00/hr.
Compensation/Benefits/Perks: This position is not eligible for benefits.
Deadline: Open Until Filled – EOE (02/20/2026) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.
Responsibilities:
Morning: Deliver academic curriculum focused on enhancing literacy skills and foundational math concepts to minimize summer learning loss. Curriculum will be chosen by Community School leadership; teachers will be responsible for delivering the curriculum and supplementing with enrichment activities.
Afternoon: Plan and deliver hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that enrich literacy and math skills. Afternoon clubs integrate art, STEM, movement, and life skills fostering engagement and excitement about learning.
