We are looking for a talented WMS Specialist to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Components Business Segment in Forest City, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Develop and provide logistics analytics and make recommendations to achieve profitability, customer service, and/or inventory goals

+ Develop logistics analytics to make operational performance and trends visible

+ Lead and participate in six sigma and supply chain improvement projects

+ Use common processes tools, and information systems to enable supply chain analysis

+ Ensure data integrity of all analytics and reports

+ Develop reporting capability for supply chain Key Performance Indicators

+ Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans

+ Use existing business systems to provide analytics and reporting that are capable and repeatable

+ Develop basic supply chain models for scenario analysis

+ Conduct internal and external benchmarking analysis.

+ Provide financial analysis as required

+ Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.

+ Trade Knowledge Application - Applies knowledge of relevant trade regulations to Cummins processes and systems to minimize trade risks and costs.

+ Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.

+ Project Management - Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort (a "project").

+ Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).

**Education, Licenses, Certifications**

+ Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in applicable field is preferred.

+ This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

**Experience**

+ Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

+ Candidate must have proven analytic skills OR supply chain experience

+ Actively searching for process improvement opportunities to facilitate efficiency, quality, and safety KPIs and make recommendations to the operations team.

+ Use data analytics to identify bottlenecks in the operations that can be cleared by process improvement and implementation.

+ Test new functionalities or changes in the system.

+ Be the Forest City lead in the implementation of the new BlueYonder WMS Software.

+ Lead the material handling, shipping and receiving functions at Forest City after the implementation of WMS.

+ **This is an onsite position.**

**Compensation and Benefits**

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $86,400-129,600. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidates qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
