    Description/Notes:

    Primary Purpose:


    Improve student achievement by providing programmatic leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional learning aligned to the campus academic program.

    Lead PLCs and support teachers through instructional coaching, model teaching, and targeted teacher interventions based on data analysis.

    Provides teachers and building administration with appropriate learning activities and experiences to help them fulfill their potential for professional growth.


    Qualifications:

    Education/Certification:

    • Valid Teacher Certificate
    • Master's degree in education; PhD or EdD preferred
    • Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas Certification

    Special Knowledge/Skills:

    • Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
    • Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
    • Understanding of the Professional Learning Community process
    • Knowledge of Advanced Placement
    • Ability to analyze data for the purpose of decision-making and planning
    • Capacity to supervise others in a fashion that leads to quality performance
    • Ability and experience in conducting professional learning to adult learners
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
    • Adaptable to change

    Experience:

    • Three (3) years of teaching; preferably at the secondary level
    • Three (3) years of experience in a campus or district administrative role related to
    curriculum instruction and assessment

    Salary Range:

    DOE
    $74, $104,198.00
