About The Role
We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team at our Santa Ana, CA bakery. As a Forklift Operator, you will safely operate a stand‑up forklift to transport raw ingredients, finished products, and materials while ensuring accurate inventory tracking, proper lot rotation, and compliance with food safety and warehouse standards.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Hours: 10PM - 6:30AM
• Weekend availability: Required
• Flexibility in scheduling based on production needs

Compensation

• Hourly Range: $20.50 – $23.00

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Operate stand‑up forklifts to move ingredients, packaging, and finished goods safely and efficiently
• Support production by loading the mixing platform with properly rotated raw ingredients
• Verify lot codes, quantities, and product types using scanners and warehouse systems
• Maintain accurate inventory records, counts, and documentation
• Move and organize pallets, returns, trailers, and materials to support warehouse flow
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment aligned with food safety standards
• Build effective working relationships across warehouse, production, and inventory teams

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1–2 years of stand‑up forklift experience
• Ability to complete in‑house forklift certification, HACCP and GMP training
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours based on production needs
• Ability to lift, move, and palletize materials as required
• Strong communication skills in English and/or Spanish

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)

• Experience in food manufacturing or freezer/warehouse environments
• Experience with warehouse scanning systems or inventory software
• Strong attention to detail in lot verification and inventory accuracy
• Ability to maintain pace in a fast‑moving production environment
• Commitment to food safety, GMPs, and safe equipment operation
