    Job Description
    Requirements
    • Associates Degree or higher (prefer business analyst, computer science, engineering)
    • Passion for data, analysis, and problem solving
    • Experience creating data applications using citizen development tools (Power BI, Power Apps, SQL, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, customer focus, and team player
    • Experience with data visualization tools, and technical reporting
    • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, sheet joining)
    • Experience with at least one programming language (XML, Python, R, Java, C++, etc)
    • Experience working in an industrial environment is a plus
    • This is a work from office position, based in Georgetown, Kentucky
    • 10% travel to other Client facilities, including ability to travel to Canada and Mexico
    • Catia or other 3D CAD/CAM software knowledge is an asset
    Responsibilities:
    • Be the Business Technology leader in a department of 100 diverse technical team members and assist team members to work with Client's Information Technology and Digital Engineering departments
    • Engage with department executives, management, engineers and technicians to create data-driven apps to improve safety, quality, schedule and cost
    • Utilize existing IT infrastructure to create systems and platforms: Leverage Sharepoint, Onedrive, and Teams
    • Develop, create and maintain low-code/no-code applications built using MS Power Platform including PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
    • Create visually simple reports from complex multi-source datasets
    • Manage and report data to stakeholders frequently to support business decisions & kaizen.
    • Connect business systems like SAP/Ariba and Tebis-Proleis with Power Platform to maximize manufacturing insights
    • SharePoint site development & maintenance
    • Manage and track software license needs within the department
    Education:
    • Degree: Engineering is preferred and computer science.
    Level of Experience:
    • Not looking for a developer but a strong experience with dashboards and working with IT professionals.
    • MS Teams, Workflows, Power BI
    • Would be working on the Existing data sets and connecting Power BI to them
    • Create the data sets and develop the dashboards.
    • Power BI is used for setting up the databases to run reports
    • Power BI is the dashboard the team would work on/use.
    • Experience with at least one programming language (XML, Python, R, Java, C++, etc): Not expecting to develop any software's but then has to have/ demonstrate that they have the ability to work with these.
    • Good to have: SAP/Ariba and CAD
    • Data Engineer, PowerBI developer, Data Analytics Engineer
    • Travel: Less than 5%, but always potential: National/Domestic Travel (Canada and Mexico: Low but the resource should not have any restrictions). No Japan
