The Lead Physician in Rural Primary Care Services oversees high-quality healthcare delivery at rural sites ensuring clinical guidelines risk management and supervision of providers.Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients backing up nurse practitioners and PAs supervising clinical staff conducting evaluations managing clinical risks and supporting provider onboarding and retention Collaborates on quality improvement provides CME and leads health IT initiatives Also develops rural health training programs for residents Qualifications include a Board-certified MD/DO with California licensure experience in primary care management and familiarity with NCQA PCMH Joint Commission standards preferred Benefits encompass competitive salary $227K-$330K PTO health/dental/vision insurance retirement plans professional development opportunities In-person role with flexible hours.
