    Field Service Heavy Equipment Technician

    CraneWorks/RentalWorks is seeking a motivated and dependable Field Service Heavy Equipment Technician. We are looking for a self-starter and team player with the heart and willingness to get the job done safely. In this position, you will be responsible for maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of equipment fleet including but not limited to diesel, hydraulics and electronics, including cranes, forklifts, aerial lifts, skid steers, generators, pressure washers, chain saws, etc.. A strong mechanical aptitude and technical expertise is required for this position.

    Schedule

    Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with overtime and weekends as needed.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Experience troubleshooting and repairing all mobile equipment.
    • Able to complete troubleshooting and repairs independently.
    • Follow federal and state DOT regulations
    • Works with a safety first mindset.
    • Overnight travel required, the amount will be based on prioritized needs and customer request.
    • No minimum education or certifications required.
    • Driver's License required.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Operate equipment to test functions.
    • Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics to identify equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
    • Diagnose and repair equipment systems including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical.
    • Maintain and repair equipment on job sites and in the shop.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
    • Complete service reports in accurate and timely manner.
