    Principal Accountabilities:
    • Maintain Process and Industry Standards and Specifications
    • Safety, Health and Environment
    • Effectively operate standard maintenance tools and equipment
    • Perform preventative maintenance
    • Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics
    • Possess a strong personal safety philosophy
    • Complete complex troubleshooting without direct supervision
    • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations
    • Locate sources of problems and identify follow-up work required
    • Acquire planned materials and tools for planned work
    • Investigate job site and prepare work site
    • Respond to interruption work from immediate supervisor
    • Complete Closeout Activities
    • Effectively inform through written communication daily pass-downs issues and actions
    • Help to establish and implement preventative maintenance procedures
    • Maintain and troubleshoot electronic controlled equipment and plant instrumentation
    • Self-starter with ability to prioritize workload
    • Working knowledge of analog, digital control devices and sensors
    • Ability to effectively operate and use test equipment
    • Working knowledge of serial communications and troubleshooting skills
    • Proven troubleshooting skills

    Required Qualifications:
    • High School or GED Equivalent
    • Programming and troubleshooting skills, preferably with Allen-Bradley
    • Be able to troubleshoot PLCs and Ladder logic
    • Be willing to be a part of the Hazmat team
    • Electrical/Maintenance Journeyman License in the state of Michigan
    • 3 years manufacturing maintenance experience
    • Strong electrical & mechanical aptitude
    • Ability to read & interpret blueprints or other forms of engineering drawings
    • Ability to work weekend and off shift hours as needed

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Computer literacy and eagerness to learn SAP/PPE systems
    • Programming and troubleshooting skills with Allen-Bradley
    • Maintenance experience in a food processing environment
    • Able to effectively use typical test and calibration equipment
    • Ability to troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls
