    Position Overview

    The Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT II) provides comprehensive respiratory care services under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor. This role delivers prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies while supporting high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. The RRT II may assume limited supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols
    • Monitor patient responses and adjust care as appropriate
    • Perform respiratory assessments and document findings accurately
    • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
    • Support clinical operations and workflow efficiency
    • Provide guidance and leadership support when serving in a supervisory capacity
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes

    Requirements

    • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care
    • Active Delaware respiratory care license
