    Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is a technology recruiting firm with regional offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco, New York, Denver, and Boston. Founded in 2006, SEP believes in providing a recruiting service that is targeted and has a personal approach; each location specifically recruits for the needs of their local market.

    The Boston division is actively hiring an Associate to join their growing team. The Associate is responsible for engaging with both hiring companies and local job seekers in the tech industry. In this role you will build a book of business from the ground up, learning a skill set in sales and technical recruiting.

    SEP provides training from day one, with a very hands-on management approach to provide employees with the resources needed to succeed. Previous experience within technology, recruiting or sales is not required. We promote from within, and leadership career paths are available for those who demonstrate both the desire and ability to handle a high volume of responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Reach out to prospective clients and candidates daily, via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other platforms
    • Speak directly with technical hiring managers to network and gather their current or future hiring needs
    • Engage with job seekers to understand their experiences and ideal next job opportunities
    • Meet with clients face-to-face, to build long term working relationships and win their business
    • Maintain an organized and efficient working environment using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other tools
    • Collaborate with your team to assist all of our candidates and contribute to filling all open requirements

    Requirements:

    • BS/BA
    • Excellent verbal communication, both in person and over the phone
    • Business level writing skills for email, social media, and outreach efforts
    • Ability to engage face-to-face with external clients and candidates
    • Professional, entrepreneurial mindset and attitude
    • Perseverance to overcome obstacles and learn from failure
    • A good sense of humor and previous experience being part of a team in school or work
