    Job Opportunity:
    Neonatologist


    Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join a dedicated team of five physicians at a leading healthcare facility in Topeka, Kansas.

    This position offers an incredible opportunity to practice in a community known for its affordable cost of living and vibrant local culture.

    The facility is equipped with a Level-III, 36-bed NICU, providing a full range of specialized services including high-frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide.


    Job Responsibilities:
    Full-time BC/BE Neonatologist position available.
    Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule (approximately 170 hours per month of in-house coverage).
    Provide in-house call and backup call from home.
    Join a collaborative team providing services to an average daily census of 26 patients.
    Utilize a comprehensive range of neonatal services including total body cooling and aEEG.
    Manage approximately 500 admissions annually with an average length of stay of 19 days.
    Access to pediatric subspecialty support in areas such as Cardiology and Neurology.
    Opportunity for new Fellow graduate candidates who are board-certified in Pediatrics.
    Visa support is available for J1 & H1B candidates.

    Qualifications:
    Board Certified in Pediatrics (required).
    Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (required).
    Kansas medical license (or willingness to obtain).
    Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
    Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred).
    DEA must be obtained prior to start.

    License and Certification Requirements:
    Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start).
    Must have no pending malpractice claims.
