2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN NEEDED - LANSING, MICHIGAN

A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Lansing, Michigan area is in need of a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician. They do Robotic Welding at this Plant and use Fanuc & Nachi Robots. Prospective Candidates should have Fanuc or Nachi Robot Expertise. Resistant Welding Experience is Preferred.

This is a Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Position offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoots ladder logic code and other configurable automated control systems (Robots, HMI, drives, laser scanners, etc.).
• Perform necessary repairs to damaged equipment (to the component level if needed).
• Provides direct support to production department.
• Provides support to other departments and team members as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
• Prepares work schedules with interim end target estimates for all projects within his/her responsibility.
• Searches out and implements new technologies and Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Propose plans and ideas for cost reductions and/or quality improvement measures.
• Maintain proper filing system to ensure all information is properly stored and easily retrieved.
• Follows and enforces the guidelines and rules as defined in the Employee Handbook and Company policies.
• Carries out assigned responsibilities under TS16949 and ISO 14001.
