    Job DescriptionQuality Assurance/Quality Control Manager

    Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to ensure the highest standards of work and compliance in a large-scale dormitory management services contract.

    Responsibilities:

    Inspect and oversee facility-related work, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

    Document work acceptance, rejection, and noted deficiencies, including work performed by the Facilities and Grounds Maintenance staff and subcontractors.

    Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulatory requirements, including the International Building Code, National Electric Code, National Fire Protection Code, and various Federal, State, and Local code requirements.

    Requirements:

    At least 3 years of recent (within the past 10 years) responsible experience in the inspection and oversight of facility-related work, including maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

    Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the written documentation of work acceptance, rejection, and noted deficiencies.

    Demonstrated knowledge of applicable codes and regulatory requirements.

    Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.

    Basic computer skills to include the ability to input data into the system and generate various reports and correspondence as required.

    -Previous FLETC experience Preferred.

    Position Summary

    Ideal candidate will be local to FLETC in Charleston, SC or willing to relocate. Position requires passing background check to access government facilities.
