Job description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school located in Warren, MI, offering a contract opportunity from April through the end of the school year.
This role is ideal for an experienced SLP with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about supporting students communication and language development.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including parts of the evaluation process.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure effective communication interventions.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies.
Qualifications
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC certification preferred.
Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred.
Proficiency in completing IEPs and conducting speech-language evaluations.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
