    Job Purpose:

    The Healthcare Sales Executive will be responsible for the promotion of Rauland Healthcare products in the assigned territory of Lone Star Communications. The Healthcare Sales Executive will devote full time and energy and, to the best of their ability, develop a deep customer base.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    · Cold Call

    o Meet and greet all potential decision makers at each of the assigned facilities.

    o Determine the current technology at each facility.

    o Determine the wants and needs of our technology at each facility.

    · Appointments

    o Once a want or need has been established, follow-up appointments will be scheduled.

    o E-mail and phone calls for follow-up to set up a product demonstration or site visit.

    · Demonstration or Site Visit (On/Off Site)

    o Plan and prepare visual and physical aids for demonstration.

    o Arrange product literature in the proper quantities for the demonstration.

    o Determine appropriateness of refreshments and handle details of furnishing refreshments if needed.

    o Coordinate factory representation if desired.

    o Conduct the demonstration of equipment focused on the predetermined need or want.

    · Daily Activities

    o Contact customers.

      • Determine or establish wants or needs with the customer.
      • Demonstrate equipment to meet the want or solve the problem for the customer.
      • Provide pricing for the solution.
      • Follow up and close the sale.
      • Prepare all necessary documentation (job form, sales order form, etc.) to convert sale to a billable project.
      • Coordinate with operations to pass on scope of work, schedules, special requirements, etc. of the project.
      • Follow the project as it is installed and act as liaison between customer and LSC project manager if necessary.
      • Coordinate the close out documentation (owner's manuals, training handouts, etc.) with operations.
      • Follow up after project completion for additional sales opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    · Minimum Associates degree w/ 2 years' experience

    · 4 Year degree w/ no experience.

    · Experience is defined as a minimum of two years of successful experience in planning, installation, customer relations, personnel and materials management, familiarity with governmental regulations and complex organizational structures, as well as training and development in the Healthcare field.

    Preferred:

    · Extensive knowledge working in the Healthcare and/or commercial low voltage markets.

    · Any sales related college degrees or low voltage vendor training.

    Education Requirements

    · High School Diploma or GED, with minimum of 3 years office related experience, OR

    · Associate degree from an accredited college with 2 years working experience, or on the job training may substitute as equivalent

    Skills

    · Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills, as well as understanding of multi-disciplinary programs.

    · An ability to integrate and harmonize diversified functions, including the administrative function.

    · Effective communication skills, as well as computer and managerial skills. Understanding, influencing, and serving others are important attributes in this position. The ability to select, develop and motivate people and create a positive work environment. The ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively and determine appropriate courses of action for the organization. Must display a high degree of emotional maturity while keeping difficult situations in proper perspective. Must be flexible and have well-developed interpersonal skills. Must excel in personal interactions with other employees at all levels of the Company.
