    Description

    Job Summary:
    Blue Ridge Automation Inc. is currently seeking Automation Engineers/PLC Programmers.

    Qualified candidates will have hands-on systems integration experience, specifically PLC and HMI programming and configuration, field work, troubleshooting, as well as start-up and commissioning experience.

    Experience in the food and beverage industry may benefit applicants.

    Direct hire positions are currently available in Phoenix. Positions are on-site at customer location for project and start-up work.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Understand and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI), batching systems, and other supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) software
    Provide field troubleshooting, start-up and commissioning support
    Perform complex problem-solving tasks that involve reviewing information, actively detecting problems, developing, and evaluating options, selecting, and implementing the best solutions
    Manage workloads and meet project benchmarks—communicating progress both internally and externally.

    Education:
    AS/BS Degree in Engineering Preferred but not required

    Job Requirements:
    PLC Programming Proficiency; Preferable Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix & Compactlogix) RS-Logix
    5000, (SLC 500) RS-Logix 500
    Industrial Communications
    HMI Proficiency – Factory TalkView SE & Wonderware Preferred
    Liquid Process Experience Preferred
    VFD Experience (Variable Frequency Drives)
    AS/BS Degree in Engineering Preferred or Documented Experience
