    Full time RN for PreAdmission Testing department.

    Primary Function:

    The Preadmission Nurse assesses the preoperative or pre-procedure patient and develops a plan of care to facilitate optimization of the pre-anesthesia patient in accordance with hospital, state and regulatory policies.


    Job Qualifications and Specifications:

    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing
    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island
    • Recent perioperative or peri procedure experience preferred
    • Current CPR certification
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient preferred
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently
