- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island
- Recent perioperative or peri procedure experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient preferred
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

The Preadmission Nurse assesses the preoperative or pre-procedure patient and develops a plan of care to facilitate optimization of the pre-anesthesia patient in accordance with hospital, state and regulatory policies.
